Getting Closer

Uh remember about a year ago I posted about my obsession with quilts and said I was making one for Mitchel? Fast forward to now and I am still making one for Mitchel....the same one. Luckily he has not moved to his big boy bed yet but who knows when I will have it done. Maybe by the time he moves to a big boy bed. Maybe by the time it will get cold enough for him to need it (but let's not get me started on awful Houston summers). Maybe by Christmas. Well in the last week I have made great strides in the quilt...which isn't saying much. But I am getting closer to being done. Here is a preview.

I am not the master quilter I had hoped to be and it drives me nuts that it is not perfect but I am learning.
