Unfortunately my cake did not turn out...at all. By the time we put on the second layer the bottom layer was bubbling up everywhere with icing and just kept getting worse. I never took a picture because I was just too embarrassed. We were able to salvage the top and make him a little cake. I also bought some cake gel tubes to decorate with but they didn't work. They were running all over the place. Oh well....I have many more years to work on it.
Cousins E and I were really excited to help open presents. I like this picture because you can just see it in her eyes!
These are Mitchel's two favorite presents. He loved these little pop together beads. They were my last minute buy that were meant to go on our trip to Tulsa but I figured we could wrap them too. He also loves loves loves his CAT push truck. He pushed it for a few hours and screamed when we took him off. He is still pushing it around every once in a while.
He didn't really want to eat his cake. He just played with it and every once in a while I shoved a little dibble in his mouth. He was much more into the pizza.
And here are a few 1 month old pictures.
